The Lommy TAG for use indoors

The current Lommy can have some difficulties in easily seeing the GPS satellites if it is used inside a tall building. In large buildings like airports, it can therefore be difficult to find a person or vehicle that is carrying a Lommy tracker.

The problem is easily solved with the new Lommy TAG (see picture). A number of Lommy TAG’s are placed at various points inside the building and every time a Lommy passes a TAG it can register its location and send back its own position.

Why use a Lommy which also registers TAG’s?

  • Tracking indoor and outdoor with the same Lommy.
  • Man down alarm irrespective of your location
  • Complete tracking, no Lommy disappears (person or vehicle) even when it moves inside a building complex.
  • Automatic emergency call to call center or nearest security guard.

A Lommy TAG is a small radio transmitter, which can be hidden almost everywhere. It sends out a unique signal within a short distance (signal strength can be configured) every 5 seconds (can also be configured). This means that each Lommy TAG has its own identity and the Lommy Tracker knows exactly which TAG it is close to, when it picks up its signal.

A Lommy TAG can also be used for other purposes, examples are:

A Lommy tracker is installed on a vehicle and the different drivers each have a TAG together with their keys. It can then be monitored who has been driving that particular vehicle and when they did it (signal strength will typically be lowered on such devices).

On an expensive boat a Lommy PRO can be installed on the boat itself and a Lommy TAG on its engine. This way you can not only track the boat if stolen, but also register if the motor was removed from the boat.
