Windmills are transported in many different ways to the global customer base.

The Lommy tracking unit monitors that the windmill has not been exposed to any drops, hits or bangs that can affect its performance.

Another element the Lommy is checking is the humidity level in the windmills gearbox to avoid corrosion. The Lommy gets attached to the gearbox at the production stage before it is installed in a windmill. The Lommy then continuously monitors the gearbox until its arrival and installation at the customers end. If at any time the humidity level reaches a specific limit, then an alarm will be issued and action can be taken to bring the humidity down to an acceptable measure again.
